Please be aware that the last day to request housing via our online registration will be on Sunday, April 27th. While we will do our best to accommodate requests made after this date, you may want to search for alternate forms of housing.
Driving? Need a place to park your car? UC Berkeley’s Parking & Transportation department has that information for you here.
If you’ve requested housing, many residential areas in the city of Berkeley have free street parking with no time limit from Friday evening until Sunday.

As we have a number of participants who will be attending from various locations, we have agreed to offer housing for conference participants who request it. If you are able to host participants on either Friday (5/2), Saturday (5/3), or for both nights, please sign-up HERE. Interested in coming but don’t know where to stay? Cal Q&A will be providing a limited amount of housing on a first-come first-serve basis. Be sure to mark that you need housing when you register online! We’ll contact you with further details. We do ask that each person requesting housing complete and individual registration form.
Who will I be staying with? Cal Q&A members and community volunteers will be generously offering up their private dorm rooms, apartments, houses, for conference attendees.
What will I need to bring? While each host volunteer will have their own specific things they can and can’t provide, it will be a good idea to bring a sleeping-bag, pillow, towels, and essentially anything that you will need to be self-sufficient throughout your stay.
Will you be providing meals? A free lunch will be provided at the conference on the day of, however we are not requesting our host volunteers to provide meals. Berkeley offers a wide range of restaurants with many offering quality affordable meals.
